VILLAGE OF MONEE, ILLINOIS -
Public Safety Facility
The project consisted of design
and construction of a new
public safety facility from an
existing building. Specific
attention was given to reusing
as many components of the
existing building as feasible in
the final design. This 13,155
square foot facility contains
four cells, a juvenile holding
room, a secure evidence room
with pass-thru lockers, a
sallyport, a vehicle garage, a
large training room, a workout
area, a Men’s/Women’s locker
room, Interview rooms, and
abundant record storage.
Jacobs and Maciejewski
Architects provided
architectural/
engineering design services as
well as construction
management services for the
project. The project was
completed in seven months.
