JMA has been serving the
South Holland Public Library
since 1971. For their most
recent project, JMA was hired as
both architect and
construction manager to
complete their interior
remodel. Part of the renovation
included the transformation of a
2,650 square foot meeting room
into an audio-visual/multimedia
space equipped with a
handicapped accessible stage,
adaptable/multifaceted lighting,
speech and stereo surround
sound, projection screen, and
internet/computer access. JMA
handled the replacement of
carpet and shelving, provided a
space development plan,
designed a dedicated and
protected computer power grid,
and developed a climate
controlled network space.
