This 13,500 square foot brightly
lit addition incorporated both
Pre-K and Kindergarten
classrooms, a multipurpose room,
a three-five year old day care
room, student and teacher
washrooms, and a spacious
multi-purpose room. The
multipurpose room was required
to allow the children ample room
for motor skill development and
group activities. Classroom
floor covering was divided –
half carpet and half tile – to
allow for nap and reading time,
as well as easy to clean art
areas. The cost of the addition
was $966K.
